The Big secret is…Law of Attraction is not a secret!

“Manifesting is a lot like making a cake. The things needed are supplied by you, the mixing is done by your mind and the baking is done in the oven of the universe.”

Stephen Richards, Think Your way to Success: Let Your Dreams Run

As I progress on my journey to creation of the new improved me, I am bombarded  with distractions and attempts to deter me from my main path.  My old cement [history] calls me directing my attention and thoughts to past non-successful ideas, actions and activities.  Old, non-productive habits seek to claim me.

Fortunately Og Mandino and my newly formed habits retain a hold.  I force my thoughts to the Law of Attraction and Napoleon Hill. “Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill  Each morning I review my DMP [definite major purpose] refreshing my thoughts of what is important to me and what I want to achieve.  During my silent time [sit] I focus on what needs to be accomplished and open myself to direction to how to best achieve these targets.hilllaw of attraction

When thoughts of inadequacy, lack of funds or other limitations try to sneak in I immediately replace them. The Law of Attraction reminds me that my thoughts trigger what I am attracted to.  When focused on what I need or want, I attract more of the same. Some times I think of past accomplishments, some times I recall overcoming similar obstacles.  I focus on giving, anonymously, whenever possible.  I intentionally seek to capitalize on attracting what I want rather than giving attention to possible needs.

You might ask is this plan of action working for me.  My answer is YES.  I am slowly moving forward.  I am not at a standstill or pulled back into the swamp of failure.  I am strong, powerful, healthy, harmonious and happy. This statement is one of my daily affirmations.  Also, I repeat it [aloud] whenever thought of failure or inadequacy try to slip in. I purposely focus on attracting positivity.

CONTINUATION: 2015 MKMMA—WHAT’S NEXT?

concentration3

I am very excited as I enter this phase of the Masterkey Mastermind Alliance journey and filled with anticipation for the new experiences and activities that await me.  This opportunity for exposure to new paths of learning  draws me like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  I seek not only ‘the gold’ but the joy of new experiences and observing myself make even greater steps in growth and awareness.

Becoming more independent and self-directed is not an easy task for me.  I have become reliant on the directions of the expert [Mark J and team] and have seen the effectiveness of their instruction.  However, I am pleased with my progress and am ready for this next step.  I look forward to the new books and activities from which to choose.  I definitely believe that ‘subby’ has my back.  I intend to remain observant and avoid slipping back into old patterns of behavior.  Should I slip, as I probably will, it is my intention to make immediate corrections and redirect myself to paths that lead to fulfillment and manifestation of my DMP [definite major purpose].

Although change is hard.  It keeps me on my toes. The excitement and drama of my life continue.  I am still on top of the earth and refuse to be buried in the concrete of past unfulfilling precepts that mired me in going from nowhere to nowhere. I am now in control and will use the natural laws, i.e. Law of Attraction, to stay there.

WEEK 18—2015 MKMMA—Law of Attraction

 attraction

This week’s study focused on enhancing our knowledge and understanding of the Law of Attraction.  My attention was drawn to the following:

25.  It is clear, therefore, that thoughts of abundance will respond only to similar thoughts; the wealth of the individual is seen to be what he inherently is. Affluence within is found to be the secret of attraction for affluence without. The ability to produce is found to be the real source of wealth of the individual. It is for this reason that he who has his heart in his work is certain to meet with unbounded success. He will give and continually give; and the more he gives, the more he will receive.

This paragraph suggests to me that my attention must be focused on ‘haves’ rather than ‘have not’s’.  This concept adds meaning to our exercise to record three gratitude’s daily.  If my attention is on what please me it is not on the reverse.  So if a component of my DMP is increased finances my attention should be on what I have not what I am missing.  Initially I found this concept confusing.  If I don’t focus on my needs how do I attain them?  After much thought I have determined the idea is that I focus on what I have and how to use that effectively and efficiently.  This in turn should increase my return on what I already have thus resulting in an increase or more to utilize next time.  Rereading my previous sentence leaves me with the idea that I am probably confusing the reader.  An example of the application of this idea is as follows. I have access to $25 weekly to meet my weekly obligations.  I devise a plan that utilizes $20 of the $25 for the current week with $5 left over.  That balance is then rolled over to the next week.  If I continue to do this over a period of time I have a resultant overall increase in funds available for a given week.  My focus is on using what I have to the best possible effect and not giving any thought to any lack.  I am thereby utilizing the Law of Attraction to attract more to me rather than the reverse which would occur if I focused on what I needed or don’t have.

Initially I found the exercise of recording three gratitudes  daily very taxing.  However, the longer I engaged in the task, the easier it became and I  found more than three things  for which to be grateful .  This is similar to my experience when looking for blue rectangles.  The longer I looked the more frequently I perceived them.  This suggests that when we focus our attention we find the object of our focus.

This course has been an overwhelming experience and I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to participate in it.
